The rules are simple. Only one person can take part. They have 1 minute to split as many logs as possible. The person who splits the most logs in sixty seconds wins! In the event of a tie, we will draw a winner at random.
To enter, simply have someone film your attempt, post it on Facebook or Instagram, tag us, and include #ChargerChallenge.

Portek Ltd – Charger Challenge Terms & Conditions
1. The Challenge is to use a Portek Charger to split the most logs in 60 seconds.
2. The Challenge is open to people living in the UK who are over 18 years of age.
3. People related to employees of Portek Ltd may not enter The Challenge.
4. The Challenge must be undertaken on a Portek Charger.
5. Only one person can operate the Charger as per the user manual instructions.
6. The winner will be the person who splits the most logs in one minute.
7. Participants enter by posting a video on Facebook and Instagram and tagging @Portek_Ltd and using the hashtag #ChargerChallenge.
8. Video entries that the judges deem to be edited or using AI will be deemed ineligible, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Videos must show the safe use of the log splitter as per the Charger manual.
10. Videos must be posted publicly (not on private accounts).
11. The Challenge runs from Monday 16 February and closes at midnight on Monday 2nd March 2026. Any videos submitted after this time will not be entered into the challenge.
12. Portek will review all tagged/ hashtagged posts by 4 March 2026; no other method is accepted.
13. The Log count from the video timestamp 0:00–1:00 must be clean, full splits to count toward the overall total. Partial splits will not be counted.
14. Entrants assume all risk of injury/damage. Portek will not be held liable for accidents, misuse of equipment, or property damage.
15. Videos showing unsafe practices will be disqualified.
16. The Charger must be operated on flat, stable ground with a secure 220-240V power supply; no modifications to the machine are allowed.
17. Entrants grant Portek a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the videos for marketing purposes. Personal data handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy link; opt-out available.
18. In the event of a tie, Portek Ltd will draw a winner at random.
19. The Challenge will be judged by a Portek panel on verified log count/safety.
20. The winner will be notified by DM within 7 days of The Challenge closing.
21. The winner(s) must provide their address and contact number within 14 days or forfeit the prize.
22. The winner will receive £100 of in-store credit to be redeemed at their preferred Portek dealer.
23. There is no cash alternative, and prizes cannot be transferred to another person.
